GREENCASTLE, Ind. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's indoor track & field team posted 17 points to finish in 10th place at the 2010 DePauw Indoor Classic on Saturday at Hollensteiner Track.

Kristina Wimsatt posted the top finish for the Blue Raiders, placing third in the long jump with a leap of 5.21 meters to earn six team points. The senior also finished eighth in the 55-meter dash with a time of 7.66 seconds and 12th in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.94 seconds.

Alicia Mattingly turned in a fifth-place finish in the one-mile run, crossing the line in five minutes and 45 seconds, followed by Ariel Lyles in 11th place with a time of 6:12.11.

Elizabeth Amponsah placed in the top five of the shot put event, throwing 10.77 meters for a fourth-place showing. Anna Sundean placed 19­th with a throw of 6.65 meters.

Vincennes (Ind.) University took first-place overall with 117 points, while Cuyahoga Community College (Pa.) took second (112 points) and Bellarmine (Ky.) College rounded out the top three with 101.5 points.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action March 2-6 in the NAIA Indoor National Championships at Johnson City, Tenn.
