Emily Meeks had five kills, two aces, a block and six block assists in the four-set loss to Trevecca Nazarene.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team ended day one of its trip to Music City on a sour note Friday, losing to Milligan (Tenn.) College 3-0 (25-20, 25-16, 25-18) and Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) University 3-1 (21-25, 25-16, 28-26, 25-18) at the Scott Jones Classic hosted by Trevecca at Mark R. Moore Gymnasium.

Despite falling to 1-6 overall, the Blue Raiders put up a fight in both matches, losing by no more than nine points in a set.

PORTSMOUTH, Ohio -- Ashlie Haworth slammed home 14 kills and four service aces to lead the Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team to its first win of the season 3-0 (25-10, 25-18, 25-16) against West Virginia Tech on Saturday at the Shawnee State Invitational.

Before topping the Golden Bears, the Blue Raiders lost 3-0 (25-12, 25-15, 25-22) to host 19th ranked Shawnee State (4-0), finishing 1-3 overall at the invitational after dropping matches to Point Park (Pa.) University and Ohio Northern University on Friday.

PORTSMOUTH, Ohio -- The Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team lost both of its matches at the Shawnee State (Ohio) University Invitational on Friday at the James A. Rhodes Center.

Point Park (Pa.) University topped the Blue Raiders in their first match of the day 3-0 (25-21, 25-17, 25-19). The Pioneers (1-0) beat their second Mid-South Conference opponent in a row after taking apart the University of Rio Grande (Ohio) 3-0 on Thursday.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- After changing to divisional play for the first time, Mid-South Conference coaches have picked the Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team to finish third in the West Division.

The Blue Raiders come in behind Georgetown (Ky.) College with 16 voting points and four first-place votes after appearing in the 2009 National Championship game and Campbellsville (Ky.) University with 13 points and one first-place vote.

CLEVELAND, Tenn. -- Arlene Ferreira tallied 10 kills and six digs to lead fourth ranked Lee (Tenn.) University to a 3-0 (25-16, 25-17, 25-13) win against the Lindsey Wilson College volleyball team on Monday at Walker Arena.

Junior Kayla Koeber, sophomore Ashlie Haworth and freshman Audra McNabney led the Blue Raiders with seven kills each. Koerber connected on 7-of-15 attacks for a .333 hitting percentage.
