COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College men's track & field coach Edwin Hagans signed Josh Kles from Jefferson High School in Jefferson, Ga., to an NAIA scholarship, the school announced on Thursday.

Kles recently finished first in both the shot put and discus events at the Georgia Olympics on May 13. Kles set a personal record in both categories with a throw of 56-feet and 2.5 inches in the shot put and 158-2 in the discus.

MARION, Ind. -- Sophomore brothers Ricardo and Roberto Vergara finished in fifth and sixth place, respectively in the 5,000-meter race walk to give the Lindsey Wilson College men's track & field team a pair of All-Americans at the NAIA Outdoor National Championships on Friday.

Ricardo crossed the line in 24 minutes and 1.90 seconds, earning four team points, while Roberto finished in 24:24.32 to earn three points towards the team total.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Josh Miller from North Laurel High School in London, Ky., signed an NAIA scholarship to join the Lindsey Wilson College men's track & field team, the school announced on Friday.

Miller will compete in the throwing field events for the Blue Raiders during the 2010-11 season.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Distance specialist Blake Hendricks joined the Lindsey Wilson College men's track & field 2010 recruiting class after signing to an NAIA scholarship, the school announced on Friday.

A native of Danville, Ky., Hendricks competes primarily in the 800- and 1,600-meter races.

MARION, Ind. -- Lindsey Wilson College's Roscoe Moore qualified for one final and came up just short for another after day one of the Men's NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships on Thursday at the Outdoor Sports Complex.

Moore advances to the semifinals of the 100-meter dash after posting a time of 10.72 seconds in his preliminary race. The semifinals are scheduled during session six on Friday.
