COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Elisha Fry scored just five goals last season, but offense wasn't hard to find for the junior midfielder in the 2010 home opener, striking a pair of goals to help the fourth ranked Lindsey Wilson College women's soccer team to a 3-0 rout of Savannah College of Art and Design on Thursday at Walter S. Reuling Stadium.

While Fry's two goals put the game out of reach for the Bees, it was sophomore midfielder Mia Persson who sent in the winning goal early in the second half.

SPRING ARBOR, Mich. -- After scoring 17 goals as a freshman in 2009, Mia Persson wasted little time getting back into the net in the fourth ranked Lindsey Wilson College women's soccer team's 1-0 win against Spring Arbor (Mich.) University in its season opener on Saturday.

With exactly one minute to play in the first half, Persson struck for the Blue Raiders from nearly thirty-yards out to give Lindsey Wilson a 1-0 lead which would prove the difference and remain for the rest of the game.
