Women's basketball recieved an at-large big to the NAIA National Tournament on Tuesday, brackets announced on Wednesday.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team will receive an at-large bid to the 2010 NAIA Division I National Championship on March 17-23 in Jackson, Tenn., at the Oman Arena, the national office announced on Tuesday.

The Blue Raiders first-round opponent and entire championship field will be announced at 3:30 p.m. CT on Wednesday, March 10. Collegefanz.com will be announcing the brackets live on their website.

FRANKFORT, Ky. -- Whitney Ballinger -- the Mid-South Conference Player of the Year -- scored 28 points and grabbed 13 rebounds to help No. 1-seed Campbellsville (Ky.) University beat the No. 4-seed Lindsey Wilson College women's basketball team 82-59 on Friday in the semifinals of the MSC Tournament at the Frankfort Convention Center.

Courtney Danis and Wendi Messer had 14 points each and Melly Heaton added 10 for Campbellsville (31-1), which won its third straight against the Blue Raiders this season.

The No. 4-seed women face a tough task in No. 1-seed Campbellsville (Ky.) University, which hasn't lost a game to a conference foe all season, at 1 p.m. CT.

FRANKFORT, Ky. -- Lindsey Waters wasn't ready to leave the Mid-South Conference Women's Basketball Tournament after just one game.

The sophomore from Stearns, Ky., poured in a career-high 27 points to lead No. 4-seed Lindsey Wilson College past No. 5 seed University of Rio Grande 68-65 on Thursday at the Frankfort Civic Center.

Viktoria Krell added 18 points and eight rebounds, while Sierra Rambert tallied 12 points, six assists and five rebounds. Bethany Spillman was held without a point, but still gathered a game-high nine rebounds.

The Blue Raiders and Redstorm split the regular-season series with each team earning a win on its home court.
